Lover’s Anguish

My life without you,

Is a barren land when I review?

It has no energy, totally dismal

Because our detachment has made my life abysmal.

I always feel my heart is weeping and I am dying

Whenever your thoughts are disturbing

I was waiting and you didn’t come that made me insane

At least take away the pain.

If you think that I am not appropriate

Then why you have chosen me to satiate

Your feelings, your whims, your needs

And propelled me to do all such deeds.

What have I done wrong?

Why you take so long?

To answer my simple question

That can set me in motion.

Why, why, why

Can’t you say just bye.

I have here something to tell,

and I bet you will yell,

but stay calm and well,

and don’t be an alarm bell.

Oh! I met this girl;

her eyes were shining brown pearl.

My mind went void and null;

as their depth caught hold me dull.

Her face was soothing and fair,

and tempting black glossy hair.

My boggling mind did dare,

to hold and take her care.

Sizzling was her physique,

better than my dreaming peak.

Her body made me meek,

and knees went numb than weak.

Ah! She gave her smile,

I lost my breath for a while,

with brain lost in exile,

was desperate to walk her miles.

As she began to leave,

she felt like a pretty thief,

who robbed me of my belief,

that love won’t cause me grief.
